'Welcome you to the Sunlodge Oceanfront Tourist Park. Let us show you the different types of accommodation that we offer. We can assist you is choosing a Tour to Fraser Island, a Whale Watching Tour, fishing trip, Barrier Reef trip, or one of the many other types of activities on offer at Hervey Bay. You can swim in our salt water pool, or take a short walk down to the clean, clear water of the beach. We are only a few minutes drive from the popular clubs, cafe's and restaurants, and golf course.'
Our cabins are well appointed with air-conditioning. We have 5 fully self-contained, and 7 with an external en suite, all of which accommodate up to 5 people. All our Caravan sites have an en-suite.
Relax by our salt-water pool, centrally located in the Park, next to the free barbecue facilities. The Barbecue area has a Bali-style thatched roof, sink, and tables and chairs. It's the perfect place for good times.
Fisho's won't miss out. There are two boat-ramps very close-by, and good fishing on the reef just out from the shore-line.
People come every year, with their tinnies, just for the fishing out on the reef in beautiful, calm Gatakers Bay, off Point Vernon.

We feed the lorikeets twice daily! You can relax by our salt-water pool, centrally located in the Park, next to the free barbecue facilities. Travel Directions
Proceed (not too far) along Boat Harbour Drive until you reach Beach Road on your left. Turn into beach Road and go along until you reach the Esplanade, and turn left and follow the Bay until you come to our Park.
Cancellation Policy
If cancelled 0 - 7 days before arrival, 100% of the total amount will be forfeited / If cancelled 8 or more days before arrival, 100% of the deposit will be forfeited. In addition to any charges by the accommodation provider there will also be an additional administration charge of AUD15 if cancelled or amended online and AUD25 if cancelled or amended by phone.
