So you've decided to have a look - you won't be disappointed. Seashells is definately value for money. If travelling by car Toogoom is about 15mins off the Bruce H'way.
There is also a local bus which picks up daily from the front door to take you to town and there you can book your Fraser Island tour or a whale watch tour.
Seashells is a one minute walk from the front door to 20klms of beautiful beaches. Bring your bikes and explore the many trails or just a pleasant ride around our lake (& visit our local black swan community - last count 26 swans) of course nothing beats a ride on the beach. The local coffee shop / restaurant is a 5 min walk - catering for your appetite. Of course for your everyday needs there is the local grocery shop.
Dogs are welcome as there is a fence yard with plenty of shade and a covered area - you would have to bring the pets water/feed bowls and bedding. A maximum of 2 dogs. Pets are not permitted inside - outside only.
Try out our fishing spots for whiting, flathead, queenie or the ellusive mangrove jack. The sunsets are picture perfect (see the photos attached). Seashells is fully air conditioned (reverse cycled) there's also another air/con in the main bedroom, remote control fans thru out, security screened a lovely verandah front and side (front is for the sunny mornings in winter and the side is for the cool breezes in summer). Smoking allowed on verandahs only. The laundry (also with dryer) is on the same level for your convenience. There's an outside shower for you to rinse off after the beach. There is a video and a supply of videos to watch. You just need to bring your own linen (sheets, towels, tea towels) we have pillows and doonas. "What you see is what you get"- VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY -
