Hervey Bay Colonial Lodge welcomes you to the gateway of Fraser Island and the whale watching capital of AUSTRALIA.
We offer fully self contained and self serviced units (Linen provided weekly).
Hervey Bay Colonial Lodge has many facilities to make sure your stay is relaxed, comfortable and enjoyable. Our units are situated only 100m from the best sandy beach in the area and just a stroll to the Esplanade Shops, coffee shops and restaurants.

By car- from Maryborough; Follow Boat Harbour Drive (Appx 3 KLM ) and turn left into Ann Street/ Shelly Beach sign, then proceed to a STOP sign, turn right into Cypress Street, we are 20 metres on your left .
IF YOU TRAVEL FROM BRISBANE WE ARE ABOUT 3.5 HRS AWAY OR 300 KLM NORTH VIA MARYBOROUGH EXIT- FOLLOW SIGNS TO HERVEY BAY.
IF TRAVELLING SOUTH FROM NORTH QLD TURN AT TORBANLEA, FOLLOW SIGN TO HERVEY BAY.
If arriving Via the Air Port; we are 6 Kls from the Airport. You can take Airport Shuttle waiting outside the airport that meets every flight and you can be droped at our door for a small fee.
Cancellation Policy
If cancelled 0 - 14 days before arrival, 50% of the total amount will be forfeited / If cancelled 15 - 30 days before arrival, 75% of the total amount will be forfeited. In addition to any charges by the accommodation provider there will also be an additional administration charge of AUD15 if cancelled or amended online and AUD25 if cancelled or amended by phone.
